    How it Works

    Sow in early autumn or spring when temperatures are mild. Clear weeds and debris, then rake the soil into a fine, even bed. Broadcast seed evenly and press it lightly into the soil, no deeper than 1/4 inch. Water gently and keep the soil moist. Begin mowing once the grass reaches about 3 inches, cutting no more than one-third of the blade.
